SPEEDBOO FEATURES

SPEEDBOO is a chronograph designed by paintballers, for paintballers. Here’s how we’re changing the game:

Portability
- SPEEDBOO is shaped like a paintball pod, making it easy to carry in your harness. No more awkwardly shaped devices or waiting in line at the chrono station. Just grab SPEEDBOO, attach it to your barrel, and you’re good to go.

Custom Barrel Attachments
- We’ve designed interchangeable barrel pieces to fit various external diameters (21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 28 mm). Each SPEEDBOO comes with six pieces, all neatly packed in a custom hard case.

Advanced Display
- The bright, MASSIVE 0.91-inch OLED screen is recessed within the shell, ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight. This placement also protects the screen from damage and offers privacy for your readings.

Rechargeable Power
- Say goodbye to disposable batteries. SPEEDBOO features a rechargeable lithium battery with a USB-C port for convenience.

Precision and Accuracy

Instead of the typical two IR beams, SPEEDBOO uses four, delivering unparalleled precision.

Calibration
Easy potentiometer calibration ensures accurate alignment and optimal performance, allowing users to fine-tune the device effortlessly.

Customization
- SPEEDBOO can be 3D-printed to order, allowing for customizable colors, logos, and even fun engravings like, “WARNING: THIS IS NOT A S3X TOY!”

Simple Mode

1. Power On: Press the shiny stainless-steel button. SPEEDBOO performs a self-check, displaying "Calibration Factor Value", battery voltage and IR beam status. A status code of 0000 means everything’s working perfectly.

2. Measure Velocity and BPS: SPEEDBOO measures in FPS (feet per second) or MPS (meters per second). If the firing rate exceeds 5 BPS (balls per second), the device switches to BPS mode with inverted OLED screen colors.

Advanced Modes

Detail Stat Mode (DSM)

Switching to Detailed Mode on the Paintball Chronograph

The paintball chronograph enters detailed mode after detecting a ball passing through it four times at a speed not exceeding 10 fps. You can achieve this using one of two methods:

Free-fall Method
Detach the chronograph from the gun.
Hold the chronograph downward and allow a paintball to pass through it four times using only gravity.
Note: This method requires the chronograph to be detached and both hands to operate, making it less convenient for quickly entering detailed mode.

Gun-Attached Method
Keep the chronograph attached to the gun.
Point the gun downward and slide a paintball into the chronograph.
Cover the opening with your hand and wobble the gun up and down twice, starting and finishing in the downward position.
This motion causes the paintball to pass through the infrared beams four times at a speed below 10 fps, triggering detailed mode.

Displays:
- T: Time elapsed since the first shot.
- N: Number of paintballs registered.
- A: Maximum velocity.
- B: Average velocity.
- C: Minimum velocity.
- D: Maximum BPS.
- E: Average BPS.
- F: Minimum BPS.

BPS Chart Mode

Enter by blocking all IR beams with a swab or other object, powering up, and removing the swab after the 666 status code appears.

Displays:
- N: Number of paintballs registered.
- D: Maximum BPS.
- E: Average BPS.
- F: Minimum BPS.
- Includes a real-time chart on the OLED screen, where the bottom dotted x axis is zero bps and top is 15 bps.
